Every directory in the database has been manually reviewed before inclusion. We track Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR), submission tier (free, paid, or both), categories, verified submission URLs, link type (dofollow vs. nofollow), and meta descriptions for each platform.

• Pricing and submission tiers: Crawled from each directory's pricing and submission pages. Pricing data is updated regularly to reflect plan changes, freemium tier introductions, and pricing increases across the directory landscape.
• Submit URLs, link types, and meta descriptions: Crawled directly from each directory's website. Submit URLs are verified by following the link chain to the actual submission form. Link types (dofollow vs. nofollow) are determined by inspecting the rel attribute on outbound links from listing pages.

Manual curation supplements automated data collection. New directories are reviewed before addition to verify they are legitimate platforms with real editorial processes, not spam aggregators. Directories that go offline, stop accepting submissions, or significantly decline in quality are removed from the database.
